A week ago T-mobile started Android 2.3 update for the myTouch 4G but only some myTouch 4G users got it. Today T-mobile is intending a new Android 2.3 update plan and all myTouch 4G users will get an Android 2.3 update on 5th August. You can take your myTouch 4G to T-mobile local store and have the manually update into your phone that can take up to 30 minutes to complete and requires more than 50% of battery life. The update process will delete all of internal data so you should back up your data, sync your contacts and list the names of application you want to re-install after update.

Not only new promotional plan, now 4G web plans both 200MB and 4G unlimited and tethering plan is available too. All new service plans from T-mobile will be a good option for Android fans who want to get myTouch 4G, Tmobile G2 or Nexus S especially unlimited data and tethering.

Not complete but it started - Like other myTouch phones which have Cyanogen Mod support and now Team Douche is working on myTouch 4G.
